RE: Error- "Context toolbar not found. Bookmark design needs update." ~Delores Ekfreeplopoden 24.Apr.03 01:35 PM a Web browser Notes Client 6.0Windows 2000
I have an example :
I had 5.0.11 loaded
I saved a complete directory backup
I loaded 6.0.1 and have all sorts of problems with trying to run CF1, but that is another problem.
In 5.0.11
bookmark.nsf = 3.0 MB
desktop5.dsk = 30.9 MB
In 6.0.1 Feb 7, 2003 version
bookmark.nsf = 8.9 MB
desktop6.ndk = 13.5 MB
But when I got the context toolbar error
bookmark.nsf = 20.9 MB , it had grown a lot
What was I doing in the hours before ?
I had been replacing my design in some folders
that had not updated properly using Mail R6 from the 6.0.1 files. If there is a MAIL R6 design template to use from 6.0.1 CF1 I do not know about it. Could it be that the CF1 update does not handle Replace design updates from the MAIL R6 template that came with 6.0.1 and that makes files like bookmark.nsf grow til they blow up ? I still remember and have problems with users on 5.0.9a and 5.0.11 where the CACHE.DSK file gets to 10 MB or more in size and then funny things happen. All I do in many cases is delete the large CACHE.DSK file and things start to work. I thne put an erase cache.dsk in the autoexec.bat file so at boot time the cache.dsk gets erase. Perhaps this is a similar bug where Bookmark.nsf grows in size for some reason, and KABLOOEEEE
